In the south of France, a house is equipped with autonomous solar power all year round!

This construction on an isolated site for a new villa of 150m², using biosourced materials (lime/hemp coating, wooden frame) fits perfectly with our approach. Offer quality, reliable and long-lasting autonomous solar systems. In this specific case, thehe connection to the ENEDIS network being too expensive (around €60), the customer's choice logically fell towards an autonomous solar system.

The client's initial request was clear: transform their home into an autonomous energy fortress, operating independently of the traditional electricity grid all year round. An ambitious challenge that we were ready to take on thanks to our proven solutions and our technological partnerships, notably with Zenaji and Victron.

Project sizing, an essential step in the autonomous solar project:

The first step of our project consisted of assessing the daily energy needs of the villa. Taking into account all electrical appliances, lighting and heating systems, we were able to define an average consumption. This data was crucial for sizing the appropriate solar system.

We start with a photovoltaic field on the ground of 6.4 kWp, or 16x Jinko Solar 440W Neo modules, with high-performance N-type cells:

Which solar batteries to choose for an autonomous solar system?

However, the heart of this project lies in our standalone kit, reinforced by the Zenaji lithium titanate batteries. These batteries, known for their durability and efficiency, were the centerpiece of our installation. They store the energy produced during sunlight hours and redistribute it continuously, thus guaranteeing a stable and reliable power supply, 24 hours a day. Thanks to their advanced technology, Zenaji batteries offer an extended lifespan and require a minimal maintenance, which is a major asset for hassle-free energy autonomy. We installed 8x elements, for a total capacity of 16 kWh, usable at 100% of DOD without impact on their lifespan, which is a huge advantage in an isolated site.

To maximize the longevity of the system, we have also integrated innovative charge regulators and Victron + Fronius electronics in AC Coupling. All the cutting and safety elements meeting Consuel standards are present, such as surge protectors, fuse disconnectors on the battery side, as well as disconnectors for the solar chains.

A system stand-alone pre-wired SUNCONNECT 8K-RS for powerful and reliable autonomy:

A Multiplus-II 8000VA-48V ensures that it permanently delivers more than 7000W of power at home. The rest of the equipment (Cerbo GX, MPPT 250/60) not only protects the batteries against overloads or deep discharges, but also optimizes their performance by adapting energy distribution in real time according to needs.

The beauty of this project lies not only in its energy efficiency, but also in its discretion. The entire installation has been designed to be as non-intrusive as possible. Wiring, converters and batteries have been strategically placed to preserve the modern aesthetic of the villa while ensuring easy access for maintenance, made possible thanks to our pre-wiring SUNCONNECT 8K-RS

Since the completion of this project, the villa has enjoyed complete energy autonomy. The satisfied owner no longer has to worry about power outages or price fluctuations on the electricity network. His house is now a model of sustainability, combining modern comfort and environmental responsibility.

This project is a perfect illustration of our commitment to providing tailor-made energy solutions. By combining technical expertise, quality products like Zenaji batteries and a customer-centric approach, we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in stand-alone solar power.

What are the results of the autonomous solar system?

The customer has total solar autonomy, without using the generator. The latter is however present to meet partial battery recharge needs during the winter period, in the event of a drop in solar output (if a week of rain for example).

What is the monitoring and maintenance of the system?

Our team of technicians is able to monitor the behavior of the system in real time, carry out curve analyzes and detect possible anomalies in advance (loss of production, system alarms, etc.). We also regularly update the inverters remotely in order to maintain an optimal level of performance, and remote diagnosis allows us to intervene within D+2 in the event of a critical problem. We thus provide the customer with peace of mind regarding the proper functioning of their autonomous system.

Remote diagnosis of the system can be done in real time if an anomaly is observed, such as if one of the batteries were to fail. Likewise, all of the parameters can be modified depending on the evolution of the system (example: connection to EDF or a generator).
