Pixii Powershaper system: a unique solution on the market
The Pixii Powershaper hybrid storage solution is unique on the market and allows a wide range of applications (optimization of self-consumption, anti-black-out, micro-grid, off-grid). Endowed with a unique modularity thanks to the unparalleled compactness (3 KG / 3.3 kVA) of the Pixiibox 48V bi-directional inverter-rectifiers, the latter are at the heart of the Pixii Powershaper system and provide several functions:
- Charging the batteries from the network and/or from an ENR source (PV inverter for example)
- Discharge of batteries to the network and/or to downstream consumers.

Pixii Powershaper: several functions, a single modular platform:
Due to their compactness and modularity, the Pixiiboxes are rackable and fit into a proprietary bay supplied by Pixii (“Pixiishelf”), allowing the paralleling of several units to obtain systems from a few kVA up to 50kVA per cabinet . Pixiiboxes can be hot-swappable (for maintenance), configured in single or three-phase on the fly, which is unique on the market today. Their topology is of the HF type with Mosfet Coolsic, and makes it possible to obtain DC/DC and DC/AC conversion efficiencies of more than 94%, which makes it one of the most efficient 48V inverter-rectifiers on the market. Their no-load consumption is also very low, at 5W per module, compared to often 15-25W for low-frequency 48V inverters of equivalent power.
Eventually, the PixiiBoxes may have additional functionalities via the update of their firmware, in particular to support a function MPPT DC/DC authorizing the control of solar strings in DC coupling (feature available in 2023)
The system provides an optional anti-blackout function in the event of a power outage in the EDF network. Powershapers can also operate in purely off-grid configurations.

Several Powershapers can be installed in parallel in order to reach powers and capacities of several hundred kWh/KVA.
Open 48V battery compatibility protocol:
Pixiibox inverters not only allow wide compatibility with a range of 48V CANBUS lithium batteries (LG CHEM, Polarium), but also the support of 48V batteries without BMS (LTO Zenaji batteries, etc.) thus allowing great flexibility in the choice of possible configurations. We offer the Powershaper by default with Polarium LFP batteries (SLB 100-145-5LFP) of 5 kWh in 3U format.

The Powershapers are based on a single hardware platform, the Pixiibox. The latter, in addition to its inverter-charger-rectifier functions, can interface with solar in AC Coupling (Fronius Primo / Symo inverter OR SMA Sunny Boy / STP):

All of the system's functionalities are provided by the gateway (Gateway) allowing not only the programming of the Pixiiboxes according to the chosen applications, but also the management of the Powershaper (alarms, security thresholds, battery management) and remote monitoring through the PIXII portal.

Thanks to the compact format of the Pixiiboxes, these are lightweight, easy to handle, hot-swappable, and thus allow easier installation and maintenance compared to conventional 48V inverters with transformers, which are much heavier.
