“For 10 years now, the Chinese PYLONTECH has been gaining market share in residential storage based on LiFEPO4 technology. With an exhaustive range, ranging from 48V batteries (US3000C / US2000C) to Powercube M1 for tertiary installations, and more recently the Force L1 tower format range, the offer is complete. We have been working with the US 5V range for 48 years now, and our product return rate is low, at around 1/100. Our confidence in this manufacturer is therefore good, although their pocket-type cells are not known as being the most durable on the market. Indeed, compared to prismatic cells from competitors such as BYD, TESVOLTS or Zenaji (with lithium titanate), their lifespan is shorter. Despite everything, their aggressive price per kWh has democratized them. We are capable of designing systems from a few kWh up to several hundred. Be careful however, beyond 16x blocks in series, an LV-HUB concentrator is necessary, and the latter is sometimes a little capricious to configure.
Pylontech batteries: good value for money, proven reliability:
One of the greatest advantages of Pylontech US 48V batteries is their high energy density. This characteristic translates into significant storage capacity in a compact format. For users, this means less space for an equivalent amount of stored energy, making the installation more flexible and suitable even for tight spaces.

2. Durability and Longevity:
The technology of these LIFEPO4 batteries guarantees an extended lifespan. They are designed to withstand numerous charge and discharge cycles without significantly losing capacity.
On the extract opposite from the report from the Australian ITP battery test center, Pylontech batteries demonstrate correct cycle resistance, with SOH estimated at 77% after 2800 accelerated cycles, i.e. approximately 10 years, at maximum DOD (90%). To maximize their lifespan, we therefore recommend setting a DOD at 80% to allow maximum battery longevity beyond 10 years.
4. Modularity and Scalability:
One of the major advantages of this range is its modularity. Depending on energy needs, it is possible to add or remove units. This scalability ensures that the system remains adaptable to changing needs, providing unparalleled flexibility.
In the example opposite, we have for example 8x Pylontech US3000C modules which were added over a period of 6 months. We advise our customers to upgrade their battery capacity over a period of 2 years maximum. This makes it possible to limit capacity imbalances between each block, which will not necessarily be corrected by the Pylontech internal BMS.
